Back in the States
So my last blog was about my trip to Copenhagen, Denmark which was a considerably long time ago. After that I made my way to Paris with Claire for a very short yet enjoyable adventure. The Paris blog along with my last bittersweet moments in London should be up shortly(even if it was a month and a half ago). I'll be honest, the last few weeks across the Atlantic my blog dropped a considerable amount on my priority list. I tried to spend as much time as I possibly could out and about London that I rarely saw my tiny, little flat in Shoreditch. For that I'm sure you understand. So you might be asking what is the purpose of this specific blog?I no longer have exciting European weekend getaways or London happenings to inform you on. Well even though I do not have these amazing experiences to update you on anymore, I do still have a life and thought perhaps a rare few of you might still like to hear about it. So this blog is just to let you know that my executive decision is to keep my blog. After a good ole month in Sweet Home Alabama, I finally made it back to the Midwest to actually take school seriously again. I am currently residing with my best friend Sarah in a duplex on the east side of Columbia, Missouri. It's a bit further from campus but I could not have asked for a better living situation. Sarah and I couldn't get along on better than we have been. I enjoy cooking for her and she in exchange teaches me how to crochet. I'm already on my third washcloth! It's how funny how domestic I've become since coming back to the states...hmmmm. Sarah and I do not live alone. We recently bought a pet Beta fish whom we named Mushu after the dragon from Mulan. He's red and looks like a dragon...hence the name. He might not be as lovable as a dog or cat but he's easy. I do worry he might turn over dead any day though considering Sarah and I sometimes forget to tell the other one we've fed him already. Maybe he'll just get fat...even though I've never actually seen a fat fish. Sarah and I have decided to get him a female Beta...hopefully he will live to see her. Her name is going to be Mulan. The decision has been made that every fish that Sarah and I own from here on out will be named after a Disney character. Well I should better go. My partner from my TV production class is coming over soon to finish shooting the last few scenes of our film for class. The Paris/London post should be up soon. I promise I will have more exciting news to inform you of next time. Until then: )
