Miraya's French Toast...tasted even better than it looks
After brunch, we decided to go to the station to take a fun day trip somewhere close. Our train from Brighton didn't leave until 9 p.m. that night so we had some time to kill. Considering we hardly knew where we were or what was close by, we asked two men at the information desk for a good place to go. They suggested Lewes, a small medieval town only 15 minutes via train.

After our wonderful high tea, we rushed to make it to the Anne of Cleves house before it closed. Unfortunately we did not make it time. However, although it is called the "Anne of Cleves House," she never actually resided there. It was just one of the houses she was given after Henry VIII annulled their marriage. It was, however, a residence of Thomas Cromwell. So instead we went and let our food digest at a cute park nearby.
It was close to five by this point and we decided to head back to Brighton and just chill at a pub before our train left at 9. We all got back around eleven-ish. First thing I did when I got back was showered. Next trip, GREECE!
